Day of Action in Memory of Aaron Borcherdt
Digest the Election and call your newly elected officials and congratulate them on winning their seat. Mention marijuana reform when you call, do it for Aaron.
Review the stance of your elected official on our blog, use the search feature and search for your elected officials name(s). Unsure who represents you, just message the page or email us and we will help!
If your elected official is supportive of reform you will want to thank them and ask them to help form the first ever “Wisconsin Cannabis Caucus” for the 2021-22 legislative session. Learn more about the “Wisconsin Cannabis Caucus” on Facebook and visiting the Action Network Petition.
If your elected officials are not supportive of reform, you need to share why marijuana is important to you. These ‘elected officials’ are just people and many times they give credit to people like you that they speak with in their districts as to changing their views on marijuana.
Before you quit for the day, sign the petition to “Make marijuana a priority in 2021” directed at our new legislative body set to take office in January 2021.
Sign and share it on social media!
Do it today, do it for Aaron.
Aaron was a bright young just getting started in life. He challenged conventional wisdom and gave people the benefit of the doubt. He had a healthy sense of what is important in life and enjoyed doing random thoughtful things for those he cared about. He had great ideas for a better world vision and everyone who knew him learned so much from him. As he stated in his June 27th, 2014 Post Crescent ‘Letter to the Editor’, “Marijuana is Medicine – medicine that could benefit anyone and everyone in one way or another. Cannabis is one of the cure-all’s of medicine. It is time to legalize NOW! No, correction – it was time to legalize ages ago.”
