On September 29, 2020, WisconsinEye senior producer Steve Walters interviewed Victoria Fueger (R-Waunakee) who is running for the 79th Assembly District in the upcoming general election.

At the 14:15 mark in the interview, Victoria begins to answer her own question, “Why is marijuana illegal anyways” and adds “it is just a plant” along the way. Watch for your self and her in her own voice, but it seems pretty evident about her stance on marijuana reform.” No one should go to jail for a plant.
