On September 10, 2020, WisconsinEye senior producer Steve Walters interviewed Orlando Owens (R-Milwaukee) who is running for the 11th Assembly District in the upcoming general election.

On July 21, 2020, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Mary Spicuzza interviewed Dora Drake (D-Milwaukee) who is running for the 11th Assembly District in the upcoming partisan primary election.

Dora Drake said her stance is that she supports legalizing adult use of marijuana because of revenue and a moral stand point and address social justice issues.
