Tawny Gustina (R) to challenge Mark Spreitzer (D) for AD 45
Assembly District 45 (MAP) is located in parts of Rock and Green County, including most of Beloit. In 2018 Rock County held a marijuana referendum in which 69% of voters approved the following: Should cannabis be legalized for adult use, taxed and regulated like alcohol, with the proceeds from the Taxes used for education, healthcare, and infrastructure?”

On September 3, 2020, WisconsinEye senior producer Steve Walters interviewed Tawny Gustina who is running for the 45th Assembly District in the upcoming general election.
At the 5:47 mark in the interview, Gustina spends about 30 seconds saying marijuana reform is a tough issue but she supports medical, not recreational.
The campaign for Tawny Gustina has not completed the 2020 NORML Candidate Questionnaire.
She did receive a D+ rating from NORML during the Smoke the Vote Project.
