Sara Rodriguez (D) to challenge Rob Hutton (R) for AD 13
Assembly District 13 (MAP) is located in parts of Waukesha and Milwaukee County.

On September 15, 2020, WisconsinEye senior producer Steve Walters interviewed Sara Rodriguez (D-Brookfield) who is running for the 13th Assembly District in the upcoming general election.
Sara received an A rating from NORML.
She said in her interview she follows the science and data and it leads you to legalized marijuana does not increase bad effects in your community.

Incumbent Republican assembly representative Rob Hutton from Brookfield has not co-sponsored any legislation on marijuana reform since elected in 2012.
During 2019, the Assembly Republicans prefiled a bill for the 2020 legislative session to create a medical marijuana program in Wisconsin (Assembly Bill 750) which he did not sponsor.
In 2018 his candidate interview said he is against recreational marijuana, he said marijuana is a gateway drug and is even hesitant on medical marijuana.
Rob Hutton has never responded or completed a NORML Candidate Survey.
Rep Hutton received a failing grade from NORML during the Smoke the Vote Project.
