Republican Candidates
We did not a find a WI EYE Interview from either Republican Candidate for 2020.
Incumbent Ken Skowronski did have a 2018 Wi Eye Candidate Interview at which some candidates spoke about marijuana, he did answer the marijuana question at the end of the interview, but at that time he said he is not in favor of it and is becoming more educated on the subject.
Skowronski as an Incumbent Republican assembly representative from Franklin has not co-sponsored any legislation on marijuana reform since elected in 2013.
During 2019, the Assembly Republicans prefiled a bill for the 2020 legislative session to create a medical marijuana program in Wisconsin (Assembly Bill 750) which he did not sponsor.
March 2020 Republicans circulated a decriminalization bill for co-sponsorship which he did not co-sponsor.
Skowronski received a Failing Grade from NORML during the 2019-20 Legislation Session.

The Republican Incumbent will face a primary challenger in Theodore D. Kafkas. As we stated above, as of August 7th no candidate interview was found on this candidate. We did not find a website page for this candidate and a google search came up empty for his stance on marijuana reform. He has a facebook page for his campaign.
