Assembly District 11 Democratic Candidate Cannabis Interviews

The 11th Assembly District  (MAP) of the Wisconsin is located in Milwaukee County and consists of the City of Glendale and surrounding area.

The Democratic Primary is set for Aug. 11 as Democratic Rep. Jason Fields is not seeking re-election. The winner will face Republican candidate, Orlando Owens in the November general election.

On the position of marijuana reform, we have to thank Wi Eye for the candidate interviews and “marijuana” question.

On July 21, 2020, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Mary Spicuzza interviewed Dora Drake (D-Milwaukee) who is running for the 11th Assembly District in the upcoming partisan primary election.

Dora Drake said her stance is that she supports legalizing adult use of marijuana because of revenue and a moral stand point and address social justice issues.

On July 21, 2020, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Mary Spicuzza interviewed Curtis Cook (D-Milwaukee) who is running for the 11th Assembly District in the upcoming partisan primary election.

Curtis Cook said he is definitely in support of legalizing adult use of marijuana and has research the issue for years, from tax revenue, boost states economy, create resources where we need them. Decriminalization is important and he addressed that also in his interview below, again cued up to the marijuana portion of the interview.
