State Senate 26 Candidate Interviews
Primary Election August 11, 2020
Democrat Candidates
Office: STATE SENATOR DISTRICT 26
The 26th District of the Wisconsin Senate is located in southern Wisconsin, and is currently composed of part of the metro Madison, Wisconsin area, in Dane County. The district includes the campus of the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
The Senate will see a new face for the 2019-2020 legislative session as the Democrat Incumbent is not running for re-election. The primary takes it as no Republican has filed to run in this race.
On the position of marijuana reform, we have to thank Wi Eye for the candidate interviews and “marijuana” question.
Incumbent: Fred A. Risser
Candidates: Aisha Moe; Nada Elmikashfi; Amani Latimer Burris; Brian Benford; Kelda Helen Roys, William Henry Davis III, John Imes
Total Number of STATE SENATOR DISTRICT 26 Candidates :7
Usually I watch all the interviews and archive them to start at the time in the interview where the candidates address marijuana reform. I have not done this in blog post and will leave it up to someone else to do this work…or watch them yourself.
Here is the link to watch all 7 video interviews, if you do watch them, make note of the time in the interview the cannabis conversation starts and if you want extra credit, take notes on what they say and we will archive them also.
