Senator Patrick Testin Dec 16, 2019 Listening Sessions
Senator Testin will be holding four listening sessions on Monday, December 16th. Members of the public and the press are invited to attend and share questions and ideas.
Monday, December 16th –
71.) Village of Rudolph: Village Hall – 1580 Main St., Rudolph – Noon-12:45 P.M.
72.) Town of Remington: Buck’s N Berries Family Restaurant – 1699 St. Rd. 80, Babcock – 1:15-2:00 P.M.
73.) City of Wisconsin Rapids: McMillan Memorial Library–490 E. Grand Ave., WI Rapids–2:30-3:15 P.M. – with Rep. Scott Krug
74.) Village of Plover: Mission Coffee House – 2860 Post Rd., Plover – 5:00-5:45 P.M.
To date, Senator Testin has only co-sponsored SB 507 and we are still looking for our first Republican co-sponsor to sign onto SB 377. Active bills are below:
- SB 377 / AB 220 publicly known as “Legalize Opportunity – Legalize Marijuana” Adult Use Legislation
- SB 507 / AB 570 publicly known as “Medical Cannabis Effort”
- SB 577 / AB publicly known as “Decriminalization”
- SB 237 / AB 236 publicly known as “Firearm Owners / Patient Privacy Protection”
Even if Senator Testin signed onto SB 377, along with Senator Kathy Brenier who recently authored a corporate cannabis bill without smoking/edibles or home grows, bills are going to be stuck in committee. The targets and work to be done are everywhere in Wisconsin!
