Help NORML Provide the Answers to Energy at an Expo in Oshkosh
We are fundraising a minimum of $125 to pay for the entrance/exhibitor fee for Northern Wisconsin NORML to have a booth and table at the Fall Edition of the Answers To Energy Expo in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The expo will be held on Saturday October 20th, 2012 from 9:00am until 3:00pm at the Oshkosh Convention Center. Admission is free.
The chapter made a huge impact and gained several new active members from the expo’s we attended early this year. The Spring Version of the Answers to Energy Expo was reported as a huge success and activists found a warm welcome among other exhibitors and participants of the energy fair.
Although our literature contains a variety of information on hemp cannabis, the group will be focusing on Industrial Hemp during the expo. The chapter plans to have hemp building supplies, hemp fuel information and answers to energy questions, as well as some feral hemp plants that still can be found growing wild along Wisconsin fields and ditches (we hope!)
Come down and say “High” to the NORML Crew, pick up some information about HR 1831 The Industrial Hemp Farming Act of 2011-12 and the companion bill in the Senate, S.3501, learn about how hemp can play a role in our energy crisis and have a picture taken with some wild Wisconsin Hemp.
