Fellowship hour and meeting planned for December 8th

Northern Wisconsin NORML is a regional chapter of  the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws that meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month.  The chapter holds regular meetings at the Harmony Cafe, 223 E College Ave in downtown Appleton.  The chapter also conducts outreach meetings throughout the state and has field activists located in multiple counties.  Events, meetings, rallies, marches, protests and other items come up often.  Make sure you follow our  blog articles and check the calender of events.

On the 2nd Thursday of each month from 4:20pm to 5:30pm we enjoy fellowship as an informal group of supporters gathering together prior to our meeting. We meet at the Harmony Cafe in downtown Appleton, which has food and beverages available for sale.

At 5:30pm we begin our general meeting, which is accepted to last until 7:00pm, sometimes finishing early, but we have the room reserved up till 8pm in case we need to go longer to accommodate for guest speakers and the unexpected.  How long the meeting really lasts is up to you and the others who attend.  Our chapter is there to serve you.

Meetings are open to the general public and you need not be a paying member to attend. Meetings are also broadcast over via Google + Hangouts.  DON’T WORRY, IT IS ONLY THE MODERATORS, NOT THE AUDIENCE THAT IS ON CAMERA! We will begin broadcasting during the formal portion of the meeting and once we go live will post the link on the Northern Wisconsin NORML Official Facebook Page.

Please consider joining our chapter (), print some membership forms, gather support locally through a membership drive and bring the memberships back to the meeting!  The chapter also has a “Print Your Own” center with forms and a variety of state and federal bills, talking points, sample support letters and links/widgets to find your legislators to contact.

The chapter has been surprising activists and attendees of meetings with rewards and giveaways, so you never know exactly what you might win or wear home from a Northern Wisconsin NORML Meeting.
