A Royal Clark ready to rock @ Classics Sports Bar in Ripon, WI on the 18th

A Royal Clark, an Indie / Folk / Alternative / Modern Rock / Country band from Beaver Dam, Wisconsin featuring Joe Cabreda, Jacob Friede, Rob Hull, Jim Pasewald, and Josh Pearson, is the opening act this coming weekend at the Friends of Jay Selthofner campaign fundraiser concert on September 18th. They “write honest tunes covered in the dust of the crumbling town they kick around in.” We love their music!

The members, seasoned musicians, have all played in various other bands over the last decade. This year, as A Royal Clark, they have steadily played bars across Wisconsin, promoting their record with 3-4 hour shows containing original music in venues which are typically dominated by cover bands. With their forthcoming ep, “model railroad disease,” the band hopes to gain new fans around the midwest and the country.

Jay Selthofner, Founder and current Treasurer of Northern Wisconsin NORML, is a motivated citizen activist in Wisconsin. In the past he has also served as Executive Director of the chapter, and in 2010, he brought awareness to Wisconsin with his run for Wisconsin State Assembly on a platform of full legalization of Cannabis and Hemp for Medical, Industrial, and Recreational purposes. Through networking, communication and hard work he believes the reform of marijuana laws will progress quickly and we will be one step closer to global peace.
