Green Lake, Wisconsin – celebrate Free Fishing Weekend at Playground Park with a Potluck Picnic

WHERE: Playground Park, Green Lake, Wisconsin (Dartford Millpond)
Free Fishing Weekend in Wisconsin will be celebrated with a Potluck Picnic and Awareness Fisheree at Playground Park, downtown Green Lake on Dartford Mill Pond.
The afternoon has planned events including, music, entertainment, “Old Timers” with tips and fishing related demonstrations. A variety of baits, extra poles and guidance for first time anglers will be provided. The DNR has sent us lead-free weights and educational material to pass out to those who are interested.
The event is growing as area fishing clubs may be in attendance and we plan to close the day out with a fun fishing contest with prizes donated by local residents and businesses. It’s sure to be a fun day, and what better way to celebrate Wisconsin’s annual Free Fishing weekend!
